Residency at Cornerstone

“The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few.”

– Jesus, Luke 10:2

The Church Needs Workers

From the very beginning, God has been at work to restore all that sin has broken. Today, He continues His mission of redemption through the Church, inviting ordinary people to join Him in this extraordinary task. Though impossible without the power of the Holy Spirit, God has graciously called us to labor alongside Him. His work is inseparable from His workers, and it is the leaders within the Church who set the pace in bringing the gospel to a world in desperate need of it.

In Luke 10:2, Jesus said, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” For years, this has been our church’s earnest prayer. We believe that God is calling us not only to pray for more workers but also to actively equip them for the work of ministry.

If you sense God calling you to full-time, vocational ministry, we invite you to spend two years with us at Cornerstone, investing in your leadership as a resident and preparing for the harvest ahead.

Ministry Emphasis

At the core, you will be given fundamental theological and leadership training, but each resident will spend a majority of their time in a specific ministry context.

The End Goal

Cornerstone is a part of the Salt Network — a family of churches committed to reaching college students and planting churches in university centers across the country. We are passionate about raising up leaders for the vital work of church planting. The ultimate vision of this residency is that, through the bittersweet tears of a difficult goodbye, we would joyfully send you out on a church plant through the Salt Network, helping to take the gospel to new places across our country.
