Position Overview

We’re seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our Communications Team! In this role, you’ll create intentional and engaging visual content across print, digital, and environmental designs while maintaining Cornerstone Church’s established brand identity. From Sunday morning visuals to event materials, social media graphics and merchandise, you’ll play an essential role in encouraging and informing our church family through high-quality design.

Design & Creative Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive brand identities for church events and initiatives, thoughtfully reflecting vision and purpose.
  • Create engaging visual content for digital platforms, including social media, website and Sunday morning visuals
  • Design print materials including handouts, booklets, magazines, and large-format signage
  • Produce branded merchandise and apparel designs
  • Collaborate cheerfully through revision requests to align designs with the ministry’s vision
  • Oversee print and merch production, using office equipment or collaborating with vendors to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables within budget
  • Support church plants with brand identity development
    Maintain consistent brand standards across all deliverables
  • Design with a balance of conviction and humility


Team Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in weekly team meetings and seasonal planning sessions
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and provide constructive feedback
  • Support fellow team members and ministry departments
  • Develop and maintain design resources, templates, and process documentation
  • Contribute to Sunday morning setup, serve as needed and attend services
  • Maintain a tidy workspace and participate in monthly and seasonal office cleaning
  • Take initiative to identify opportunities for improvement across the organization, demonstrating ownership and investment in the church’s overall excellence


Required Competencies

  • Commitment to excellence in representing Christ and the church
  • Proficiency in Mac operating systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, etc..)
  • Proven portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual skill and innovative execution
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Highly productive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear, thoughtful and friendly written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with high standard of excellence
  • Collaborative, growth mindset with ability to implement feedback
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
  • Resourceful and creative problem-solving abilities

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • 3-5 years of professional design experience
  • Awareness of current design trends
  • Knowledge of effective marketing design strategies
  • Experience exploring and applying new or innovative design techniques and emerging technologies
  • Artificial Intelligence integration experience
