New Directions to Cornerstone

Cornerstone Recovery

Cornerstone Recovery is not a book or curriculum. It is a Gospel recovery ministry designed for the local church to help those who are recovering from hurtful circumstances and addictive behaviors: divorce recovery, codependency, mental health issues, chemical addiction, emotional abuse, family hurts, anger, trauma, domestic violence, sexually addictive behavior, and other issues.

The Recovery environment is uniquely designed as a safe place to find love, acceptance, and the hope we find only in Jesus and the power of the Gospel.

Please Note:

This is an adult only ministry. You must be 18 to attend. Childcare is provided during large group and open share time.

What to expect:

The evening begins with a Large Group Meeting. Large Group Meeting is a worship service. We sing, read Scripture, teach God’s Word, and hear testimonies of recovery and hope. The Large Group Meeting is open to anyone and a great place to get a taste of Recovery Ministry.

The second part of the evening consists of Open Share Groups. This is optional and available as you get more acquainted with the recovery ministry. These are small groups for men and women that are grouped by specific areas of hurts or areas of recovery. Open Share Groups are a safe place to begin talking about your hurts and struggles with people who have experienced many of the same things.

We end the evening with a meal together. This is an optional time for food and fellowship with one another.

Who can attend?

Cornerstone Recovery is for any adult with any kind of life issue. If you would like to find out more, drop in on a meeting or contact Pastor Lance at [email protected].
