The Spiritual Workout Plan

Fall 2026

Spiritual Stamina Matters.

Culture tells us to chase the next trend. God invites us to walk with him for life. But in our fast-paced world, it can be hard to know where to start or how to sustain spiritual practices.

The Spiritual Workout Plan is a simple, practical routine to help you build endurance in your walk with Christ. Through Bible reading, Scripture memory, accountability, and truth-filled resources, you can have a clear path for growing deeper with God.

It’s not about pace or perfection. It’s about being present with God, and these small steps of faithfulness will add up over time to ground you in Christ.

PRO TIPS

The Bible Project

Watch The Bible Project video before and after reading each book to understand the story, themes, and context.

Read before study.

Read your passage each morning without rushing to take notes.

Let God’s Word shape you before you study every detail.

Use a Study Bible.

The CSB or ESV Study Bible can add helpful notes, context, and clarity as you read.

Memorize

Let God's Word sustain and carry you.

When temptation comes, when fear rises, when stress builds, when you’re tired and worn out, Scripture memory helps God’s Word meet you in the moment.

Memory Wristbands

Each Bible Memory Project™ wristband is inscribed with the first letter of each word in the memory verse. A full set of memory wristbands will be available for $5 while supplies last.

PRO TIPS

Say it out loud every day.

Read the verse out loud 10 times, then review all past verses daily.

Use memory tools.

Try our memory acronym wristbands or verse lock screens to help the verse stick.

Put Scripture where you will see it.

Place the verse on your bathroom mirror, in your car, on your desk, or as your phone lock screen.

Accountability

"Confess your sins one to another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed." James 5:16

PRO TIPS

Call each other to the light. In community, confess temptation and sin. This brings healing, not shame.

Be honest in accountability and use the questions in the guide. Don’t give surface answers. Be fast, full, and free in confession.

Go over the questions twice. In the first round, ask each question and give a brief 1-2 sentence answer without elaborating. Then, return to any areas that need more attention, taking time to unpack any confession or temptation that came up—this is where healing and growth really begin.

Truth

Use these recommended resources to replace distraction and fill your mind with truth.

Your mind is being trained every day.

By what you watch. By what you scroll. By what you listen to. By what you return to when you are tired.

These resources are designed to help you grow in knowledge, wisdom, and love for Christ so you can run with endurance.
