How it Works

READ

Commit to a Bible reading plan that fits your pace. Choose one New Testament plan and add the Old Testament plan if/when you’re ready.

  • NT in 1 year: 1 chapter/day, 5 days/week
  • NT in 4 months: 3 chapters/day, 5 days/week
  • OT in 2 years: 2 chapters/day, 5 days/week

MEMORIZE

Commit to memorize one verse of scripture each week. This Spring, we’re memorizing core New Testament verses. To help, try reading the verse out loud 10 times, wear our memory wristbands, write it on a notecard, or set it as your phone lock screen.

Accountability

Meet weekly with a small group of friends and keep each other accountable by asking honest questions.

TRUTH

In a world full of false teaching and meaningless distraction, use our recommended resources to replace distraction and fill your mind with truth.

A Word of Encouragement

Don’t stress over the GAP between your goal and your actual progress.

Focus on the GAIN between where you once were and where you are now.

Bible Reading

PRO-TIPS

  • Prep and review with BibleProject videos. Watch the video for each New Testament and Old Testament book before and after reading to anchor the story.
  • Don’t just read the Bible—receive it. Read your passage each morning without taking notes. Let it shape you before you analyze it.
  • Use a Study Bible. The CSB or ESV Study Bible adds helpful notes, context, and clarity. It’s like walking through Scripture with a guide by your side.

Accountability

"Confess your sins one to another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed." James 5:16

Pro Tips

  • Call each other to the light. In community, confess temptation and sin—this brings healing, not shame.
  • Be honest in accountability. Don’t give surface answers. Be fast, full, and free in confession.
  • Go over the questions twice. In the first round, ask each question and give a brief 1-2 sentence answer without elaborating. Take ownership before giving an explanation. Then, return to any areas that need more attention, taking time to unpack any confession or temptation that came up—this is where healing and growth really begin.

Weekly Questions

  • Spiritual disciplines: Did you complete your Spiritual Workout Plan reading and memory this week?
  • Sin & temptation: What sin or temptation do you need to bring into the light?
  • Celebration & stress: What joy can we celebrate? What stress or burden do you need help carrying?
  • Relationship health: Is there any brokenness in your core relationships that needs to be healed?
  • Goals: What sin do you want to kill or area of godliness you want to grow?
  • Integrity check: Have you been completely honest?
