WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE
This year we will be creating a team of leaders within Escape22 with the purpose of developing our students and serving the church. These students will be serving as either a 180 small group leader, in a D6 Beliefs classroom, or on the worship team.
If chosen for 180 leadership, students will be expected to attend 180 and help lead the small group that follows. They would be there from 6:30-7:50pm each Wednesday, as well as attending retreats and special events. We would also expect them to be attending Escape22 after 180. If this conflicts with the student’s E22 connection group, they will not be able to serve in 180.
If chosen for D6 Beliefs leadership, they will be serving during one of the services on Sunday morning in a classroom of 3rd – 5th graders. They will help lead them through books of the Bible and aid in discipling them to understand the gospel further. Students will be expected to attend church during the service that they are not in the D6 classroom.
If you are interested in serving on the worship team, you will need to do an audition as well as filling out the application. If chosen for worship team, you will be expected to play when you are scheduled, as well as attending the practices that are required for that week. There will be more details to come on audition times.
We will also be having monthly meetings for leaders who are serving in any of the ministries. These meetings will be on Sunday mornings in between services from about 10:00-10:35am. We will spend this time equipping our student leaders for their roles in the ministry, as well as checking in to make sure that everything is going well!
Students, if you are unsure as to whether or not you would be a good fit – still apply! We would love the chance to walk through this process with you and talk about ways that we can support you in growth and learning.
To apply click the button below! The application will be available until Friday, June 30th. We will start setting up interviews sometime this month.
