Each parent is encouraged to join a connection group as the primary way to grow and learn to incorporate God’s Word and ways into everyday life.
D6 classrooms rely on volunteers to teach and otherwise staff classrooms each week. Parents can serve in a classroom by filling one of two roles.
In addition to the trained and background checked regular volunteers, D6 also relies upon parents to help keep classroom adult: child ratios optimal during weekend services. We ask any parent whose child regularly attends a weekend class to serve as a parent helper in a D6 classroom twice each quarter. Parent helpers are not responsible for teaching lessons, disciplining children or monitoring restroom trips. They are simply another set of hands the teacher can rely upon to meet various needs within the classroom.
To become a parent helper in a Basics (K-2) or Beginnings (Infant-Pre-K) class, please sign up.

Volunteers can serve as either a lead or assistant teacher on either a weekly or every-other-week basis. Ample training is provided to enable volunteers to successfully fulfill their roles. Contact Julia Brosamle at jbrosamle@cornerstonelife.com with questions about serving in a D6 Classroom.
