Benevolence Team Training
People often come to Cornerstone requesting assistance of some sort. We believe that the best way to help a person is to not only meet their physical needs, but to establish relationships that can promote longterm growth and spiritual healing. The Benevolence Team consists of people who are available to interact with people impacted by poverty as needs arise and as their own capacity allows. The goal of the Benevolence team is to have trained and supported individuals ready to
- Lead connection groups that welcome people from hard circumstances
- Serve as mentors in ministries such as Home for Awhile, Public Schools and Informed Choices
- Interact with people who contact Cornerstone seeking assistance
A 5-week Benevolence Team training will take place on the five Sundays in October, starting October 1, from 8:45-10:00a in the office Conference Room
