Technical
At our weekend services, we strive to learn from God's Word and celebrate Him with excellence. That's why our technical arts team works hard behind the scenes to make all of our services and special events look and sound great. If you enjoy serving others and working with technology, then this may be a place for you to get involved.
Opportunities for Technical Artists
Audio | Our sound team helps us sing worship songs and learn the Bible better by amplifying what our musicians and teachers present from the stage. They need to know not only how to run the equipment but also how to make everything sound great.
Stage | Our stage managers serve our musicians and teachers by maintaining an efficient and safe auditorium and stage. Stage managers work hand-in-hand with the sound team and worship leaders every week to help our services run smoothly.
Lighting | Cornerstone's lighting operators create a great environment for singing and teaching by hanging and focusing stage lights as well as programming light cues. This area of the technical arts ministry requires the least amount of time and is subject to the ebb and flow of our arts events.
Graphics | Projected lyrics and graphics are used in almost every large gathering at Cornerstone. Our computer graphics (CG) operators use a program called ProPresenter to display song lyrics, Bible text and graphics on the main screens. CG operators must be able to lead with the worship leader and possess basic computer skills.
Video | Our live video team consists of directors, switchers and camera operators who record and distribute a video feed for our live events. You can read more about the individual roles on our video page.
