Our church family in Ames

Cornerstone is one church with multiple locations (Ames and Ankeny). We chose the multi-site model to expand our reach to other communities using the resources we've been given.

•      The Ames location opened in September 1999 (after moving around the city for five years in various rental venues). The main auditorium has seating for 1,800.
•      All elements of the weekend service are live, including the message.
•      We offer D6 Weekend classes for infants through second grade during the service and D6 Beliefs (a training workshop) for third through fifth grade children and their parents.
•      There are plenty of staff and volunteer leaders to serve you.

•      Connection groups. Hosted in homes in Ames and surrounding communities, these groups of 8-14 people offer a smaller context for the study of the Bible, fellowship, accountability and service. Click here to find a group.
•      Life stage ministries. From infants to married couples, we offer ministries for your current life stage. Whether it's a large group gathering or one-on-one mentoring, we've got you covered. Check out our ministries.
